Today, the reality is very different. Africa is home to 1.4 billion people and holds the youngest, fastest-growing population on Earth.<sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">President William Ruto warned that the UN cannot possibly survive if it continues to ignore this massive younger generation. A system built for a postwar past cannot solve the complex problems of our modern future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAfrica will no longer stay on the sidelines as others decide on peace, security, and development without us,\u201d Ruto told the assembly, drawing a firm line in the sand.<sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many global leaders argue that changing the UN is too complicated. Ruto challenged that excuse directly. \u201cWe should not accept that reform is impossible because it is difficult,\u201d he urged.<sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Africa\u2019s youth are driving digital innovation, pushing for green energy, and building new industries. They are not helpless victims waiting to be saved by the West; they are the necessary key to global economic stability. The UN faces a very clear choice today.
