African Languages Content Production Training Bamako, Mali 9-13 March 2026

The African Academy of Languages (ACALAN) is organizing a training session for producing content in African languages for the ACALAN Media in Bamako, Mali from March 9th to 13th, 2026.

The main objective of the training is to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to create content and operationalize the ACALAN Media. ACALAN has constructed a state-of-the-art studio in Bamako, Mali with the objective of enabling the implementation of language policies on the continent.

The ACALAN Media is a long-term strategy to reach out to the African masses in their languages and support learning and skills acquisition for children and youth. It is composed of radio and TV broadcasts, a website, and social media platforms.

The expected outcomes of the training include participants gaining experience with studio equipment for production and broadcasting. The ACALAN studio will be activated for live on-air broadcasting to promote content in African languages.
